The interviewee, 15 years-old boy from Afghanistan, was pushed-back from Croatia to Serbia on August 29th, 2017. He was caught in the city center of Zagreb. The police asked him where he was from, he answered that he was from Afghanistan. They asked for his documents, and he said that he didn’t have any.

The police officers brought him to the police station, where he asked to be registered and declared that he wanted to stay in Croatia.

He was placed in a vehicle and brought back to Serbia, along with 3 other people-on-the-move. There were two marked police cars, bringing them back to Serbia.

The police broke his mobile and dropped them off in the area at Šid’s train station.
