According to the respondent, the group was intercepted by the police on road 6 Karlovacka ulica, in the direction of Vojnić – Croatia. They were stopped by one man whom they identified as an officer as they were wearing black uniforms and a gun on the belt and driving a white car that had Policija written on the side.

The respondent reported that at first, the officer asked where they were from and then took phones, power banks, and personal items from the 4 men. The respondent says that when he tried to hide his phone from the officer, he punched him on the forehead. The police officer then made a call and another officer wearing a light blue shirt arrived. He was driving a white van that had Policija written on the side. According to the respondent, the group went into the van and was driven to the Bosnian-Croatian border. The respondent describes a journey of 30 minutes in a very hot and dark van without windows. He also mentioned very fast driving which made them feel sick.

At the end of the ride, the group went out of the van in a place that the respondent described as in the forest. One of the police officers returned all the personal items to the group and told them “Now just go there” pointing a direction in the forest. The respondent says that the group got lost for 3 hours afterwards.
