On Sunday, November 21, the respondent crossed into Hungary and arrived at the train station in Szeged, from where he took the train to Budapest. At the train station in Budapest, he was approached by police officers, who asked him for his passport. He was then reportedly taken  to a room at the station, where they detained him for two hours. They searched him and forced him to undress. A senior officer wearing civilian clothes arrived and called an Arabic-speaking lawyer for Ahmed. They checked the map on his phone and took a picture of it. They also photographed Ahmed and his Serbian camp identification. Later in the day, he was taken over the border to the city of Subotica in Serbia.
