The respondents (5 men from Afghanistan) reported that, on October 19th, 2020, 2 security guards at the Obrenovac Transit Reception Centre approached them and confiscated their phones and camp IDs. They told the group that they would not receive any food or their belongings until they cleaned some of the hygiene facilities at the centres. According to the respondents, when they refused and asked for their belongings back, the guards started hitting them with fists on their faces and torsos. The respondents described that, having refused to clean the toilets, they did not get their belongings back in the end.
