The respondent reported that, on August 24th, 2020, he was hiding under a truck in the Port of Patras at around 16:45, when a man in a military uniform that he identified as a port security guard arrived together with a dog that he described as belonging to the police canine unit. The respondent heard the footsteps of the guard when he arrived, who walked several times around the perimeter of the truck with the sniffer dog. The guard let the dog sniff under the truck.
"I saw him a few centimeters away from me and I got scared. The dog, perceiving my movement, bit me on the elbow as you can see". The bites can be seen in the picture.
"It was all extremely fast. I moved my arm and ran away, on the opposite side of the port guard". According to the respondent, he was also insulted with words like "fuck Islam", "fuck Allah", "fuck your country", during his run to the barriers of the port area that he had to climb over to leave the place. "They can reject me as much as they want to but I cannot tolerate they insult my belief".
