The respondent is a young man from Afghanistan between 19 to 30 years. He recounts an incident that occurred on August 24th, 2020, at approximately 3:00 PM.

After entering the port area at 3:00 PM, he sought shelter beneath a truck. Within fifteen minutes, he was discovered by a port official described as a muscular individual dressed in military attire, carrying a truncheon. Identified as a regular presence in the port vicinity, the official engaged the individual. Shielded by adjacent trucks from public view, the encounter resulted in the officer striking the respondent twice on the hips.

"The pain hindered my ability to sleep that night," the respondent remarks.

Additionally, he was required to surrender his mobile phone, which the officer destroyed by stepping on it with his foot.

Furthermore, the respondent reports being subjected to incomprehensible shouts in Greek, accompanied by gestures urging him to vacate the port premises. "Why, instead of simply telling us to leave the area of the port, do they humiliate us by breaking something as precious to us as a cellphone?" the respondent concludes.
