On Sunday 30th of May, a young man from Afghanistan was apprehended inside the Port of Patras by three men and two women wearing uniforms resembling those of the army. The respondent described the authorities as part of the “commando”, dressed wearing camouflage uniforms.

Reportedly, the respondent was found and apprehended around 4 pm; then he was forced to spend about one hour handcuffed close to the Port check-in, where many people could witness. 

He described this situation as “the worst thing” because he was slapped by the authorities in front of the people passing through the check-in, who didn't attempt to stop the violence. In fact, the respondent described having been slapped twice in his face, while the officer said something in the line of: “Hey, are you ISIS?

After about an hour and a half from the time of the apprehension, the respondent was allowed to leave.
